About Us

Cement Plant

Sharjah Cement Factory began operations in 1977 with an 800 TPD long dry kiln and a cement grinding capacity of 30 TPH, leading to a clinker production capacity of 0.26 million MT per year and a cement grinding capacity of 0.24 million MT per year. Following the installation of a new cement mill and packing plant in 1983 by UBE Industries, Japan, the factory’s total grinding capacity was expanded to 1.1 million MT per annum.

Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)

The factory is committed to promoting the highest standards in health, safety, and environmental protection by establishing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive HSE Management System.

Dispatch and Delivery

Cement is pneumatically transported from the grinding mill into dedicated storage silos, with each product having its own silo. It is dispatched in bulk tankers or in 25/50 kg bags, and larger packaging options of 1000 to 1500 kg bags are also available upon request.

Product Certification

To maintain the prestigious BSI KITEMARK for its products, Sharjah Cement Factory adheres to stringent British Standards Institution requirements.
